A government official, Gbenga Omotoso, said in a statement on X that Joshua was deemed clinically fit to “recuperate at home”. “Joshua and his mother were at the funeral home in Lagos this afternoon to offer their condolences to his two friends who passed away as they were being prepared for repatriation,” the commissioner stated. A Tribute to the Fallen The victims of the crash were named as Latif Ayodele, a fitness coach, and Sina Ghami, a performance coach. Omotoso added that the boxer was “heavy-hearted and overcome with emotion over the passing of his two close friends.” This update on his health follows the boxing community had expressed sympathy for the star in the wake of the terrible crash.
